CV Cheer Classic

2006

On behalf of the CVHS Cheerleaders and the CV Cheer Boosters, we would like to thank you for participating in the 12^th Annual Cumberland Valley Cheer Classic on Saturday, November 11^th. 

To the hundreds of competitors:  Your hard work and dedication to cheerleading was amazing.  The level of accomplishment in every division was noticed by the judges and appreciated by the audience.

To the volunteers who gave willingly of their time:  Thank you very much for your gift of service.  Most who attended will never know who assembled and disassembled the spring floor, watched the entry doors, ran the warm-up areas, prepared and served the food in the kitchen, staffed the event with volunteers, or processed the paperwork, but your efforts contributed to a very successful competition.

Food Drive:  Thank you for supporting the CV Cheer Classic Food Drive.  Your generous donations will be used by the Central PA Food Bank to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.  No one should be hungry.  We plan on making the Food Drive an annual event at the CV Cheer Classic.

Lost and Found:  A number of items ended up in the lost and found box.  If you are missing anything of value, please email me at KShaffner@aol.com.  A few items of importance include:

Please mark your calendars for Nov. 10, 2007 and join us for another exciting CV Cheer Classic.  Next year, we will improve the traffic flow in the hallway between the morning and afternoon sessions by encouraging morning teams to remove their belongings from the Spectator Gym during the lunch break, and we will stagger the dismissal of the younger teams from the awards ceremony in the morning.  This will ease the congestion in the hallway.
